Boozn' it up for Boxers

A Fundraiser to Benefit St. Louis Boxer Rescue

On Saturday, 20 September 2008 from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM, Pets in the City and Luvy Duvy's Cafe will host Boozn' it Up for Boxers, a fundraiser to benefit St. Louis Boxer Rescue. This event will be held at Luvy Duvy's Cafe which is located at the NE corner of Jefferson Ave. and Arsenal St. in the historic Benton Park area of south St. Louis (see Mapquest for directions). Ticket prices are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Ticket price includes all you can drink beer and wine, free appetizers, music and great company! We will also be holding a Silent Auction. Auctions items include a week's stay at a privately owned condo in Gulf Shores, AL, a BBQ gas grill, gift baskets, NICE gift certificates, art work and much, much more. Think Christmas, folks and bring your check books!

This event will also kick off our Memorial Quilt raffle. Have you lost a special pet and would like to say a few words to express your feelings? Now is your chance! Quilt squares, purchased with a donation to St. Louis Boxer Rescue, will be available to write something special about your companion that has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. Each donation includes an entry for a drawing to win the completed quilt.
